PSKC 2012 Report

  • Cross-sectional weight and longitudinal weight were provided based on the response pattern analysis from Wave 1 to 5.
  • The cross-sectional weight of Wave 5 was computed by keeping the non-response adjustment class applied up to the 4th Wave in order to reduce non-response related bias and to make weight calculation process consistent.
  • The longitudinal weight was created based on the non-response adjustment class set up according to the variables affecting non-response pattern.

PSKC 2010 Report

  • PSKC used a stratified multi-stage sampling technique. For the sample data obtained through complex sample design as such, appropriate statistical analysis is possible through a process of estimation by applying theoretically calculated weighting.
  • PSKC composited three elements for weighting: design weight, non-response adjustment , and post-stratification adjustment.

PSKC 2007 Preliminary Study

  • PSKC,a panel study, keeps using the same sample every year and changes may occur in the sample configuration due to various reasons such as non-responses or sample attribution. To ensure representativeness of the panel study data,weight-adjusted relabeling should be carried out continuously through non-response and post-stratification adjustment. Accordingly, weighting for the cross-sectional analysis of the second year study data of PSKC 2009 was established.
